Foundry Art Center presents:  The  Art of The Game  
                                      Oct. 22^nd     6:00 pm
 From our earliest age, people have been inspired by the art of the game.  As kids we began our collection of player cards (baseball, hockey, football) not realizing that we were actually building a collection of mini photographs – an art collection of our favorite players. As we got older, our collection expanded to posters, framed photographs and desktop figurines that confirmed our love of the game and the players who played it. There are contemporary artists today who draw on that same inspiration we experienced as children to create engaging works of art that beautifully represent the symphonic movement of players in the game.  The Foundry Art Centre’s “Art of the Game” will pay tribute to these artists and the players who inspired them.  The event will feature in attendance renowned artists and their work, and players of the game.

Tim Kearney – St. Louis Cardinals, Football

Brad Soderberg – Lindenwood University, Basketball
Ryan Robertson – Sacremento Kings, Basketball
Jack Scharr- president of Fine Art Ltd and Chairman of the American Sport art Museum and Archives 

The evening will begin with a private reception for Sponsors to mingle with Featured Guests, followed by a general reception for all attendees. Highlights of the evening include sport themed artwork provided by Fine Arts Ltd, an address by Harry Weber on his inspiration for his work, and auction items that reflect the spirit of the evening.
